Do I have to change my filter on time?

We recommend changing your filters based on timeframe or volume of water filtered, whichever comes first. To find out the filter life of your product, please visit the Product Assistance page and search for your respective filter.

If you do not change your filter on time, the filter's effectiveness at contaminant removal, mineralization and pH maintenance begins to decrease. The rate at which performance declines will vary, but it generally starts to reduce after the specified filter life is exceeded.

All reduction percentages as indicated on our test results show the maximum filtration capacity of each product based on the rated lifespan of the filter. This standard helps ensure that all customers can maintain optimal water quality.

The efficacy of the filter cannot be guaranteed beyond the recommended usage filter life due to variables in water quality and consumption rates. If stretching the filter use is necessary, just be aware that the water quality might not meet the peak performance standards advertised.
