What Thread Size Does the Shower Filter Use?

The Santevia Shower Filter is compatible with the universal standard for shower plumbing in North America and many other countries:

• Thread size: ½ inch

• Thread type: National Pipe Thread (NPT)

• Full Specification: ½" NPT male/female threads
  

This means the Shower Filter fits directly onto most standard wall pipes and works with virtually all off-the-shelf shower heads and requires no special adapters for installation.

International Compatibility:

In North America, ½" NPT is the plumbing standard for shower fittings. If you're outside North America, double-check your local standard—some regions may use BSP threading, which is not compatible with our Shower Filter.
