How can I test the pH of my water?
Edited
To accurately test the pH of your water, we recommend using a liquid pH testing solution or a digital pH meter.
When testing the pH of your Santevia water, you should observe a pH increase of about 1.5 - 2.0 units, although this varies based on your source water.
Note: You cannot use pH litmus paper to test water. Here's why:
Purpose of pH strips: pH test strips are primarily designed for fluids with multiple constituents, like blood, urine, or saliva, not for water.
Accuracy concerns: Santevia water is naturally alkaline due to the presence of minerals like calcium and magnesium. Many pH strips don't register these minerals, which may lead to misleading results. You might receive a “neutral” reading or no result at all.
