Results vary depending on the source water. This data presented is in accordance with the laboratory testing performed by Santevia following the USEPA DPD Method (Method 8021) for testing chlorine — the accepted standard for the reporting analysis of drinking water. All testing is done in accordance with NSF Standards 42 and 53 for water quality and the reduction of chlorine. The reduction percentages indicate the maximum filtration capacity of this product based on the rated lifespan of the filter.
