Why is my total dissolved solids (TDS) reading so high?

Edited

A TDS meter measures the total dissolved solids in your water - this includes both harmful substances (such as lead and chlorine) and healthy minerals (such as calcium and magnesium)

Santevia improves the quality of your drinking water through a two-stage process:

Stage 1: Filtration. Harmful contaminants are removed, thus reducing the TDS reading.

Stage 2: Mineralization. Healthy minerals are added, thus raising the TDS reading.

The result is water with a TDS reading that may be equal to or higher than your tap water.

Although TDS meters provide information on the concentration of substances in your water, they do not offer a complete picture of its quality. To accurately determine the quality of your drinking water, laboratory testing is necessary.
